WIFI on Mumbai railway stations?

Yesterday, while waiting at Kurla station for my train to arrive, i made an accidental discovery. I was checking for messages on my cell phone, when i clicked the WLAN search widget by mistake, and it readily discovered a WIFI network by the name of ‘Kurla Station’. However, when i tried to access the network, i found that it was locked using a WEP key. I was quite amused.

Later, i tried this on various railway stations and found that most of them have a similar WLAN network protected with a WEP key.

I believe it has got something to do with the newly installed “Mumbai Go” card machines. And if that is true, i wonder if the security offered by WEP key’s are good enough to protect these machines from hackers.
