I had been to nasik last week. With not much rains around this time, i had not expected to see a lot of greenery. However, i must say i was pleasantly surprised

It rained a bit while i was there for a couple of days, The weather could not have been better. Me and my friends decided to visit the “vaani devi’s” temple and it was lil bit of a climb to reach there. However, its pretty easy to reach now, with the construction of concrete steps and other support structures. On the top you will find monkeys roaming amock the people. I did get pretty close to a handsome one . The nights in nashik were mildly chilly, altough not cold, but you would wanna carry a couple of comfy blankets…

When we left, as we sat at kasara station waiting for the train, it started raining heavily and my friends enjoyed their last free shower from the heavens. For anyone planning a trek or a picnic, i would say now is the time. With the recent rains, the whole place is covered in green.

For me, this was a trip i will never forget. Wish i could stay a lil more…and wish my whole group could come along… but then again, if wishes were horses…
