It was sunday. With nothing to do and boredom getting out of control, me and prasad chalked up an impromptu plan to trek to Lohagad. It was decided that we would go by train and i duly gathered all the details. Later, i learnt that Vaibhav and Prasad had come up with a plan to go by road, in his car. “All the better”, i thought.
Fish collection at Kalundre river
This sunday, me and some aquarist’s from MAS went on a fish collection trip to the Kalundre river, situated some 15 mins off Panvel, Maharashtra.

Trek to Vikatgad aka Peb Fort
Situated between Prabalgad and Matheran, Vikatgad aka Peb fort is a pleasant experience. The fort was used by King Shivaji primarily as a granary. The British are known to abandon this fort and move to Matheran due to its lack of water resources.
